New Membership

Membership in this cooperative gallery requires a $185 yearly membership fee (payable in January) and a committment to gallery-sit at least 8 days a year.

Requirements for artists applying for membership

Your presentation should include

  • 8-10 pieces of current work.
  • 3-4 framed and ready to hang.
  • One page bio or resume
Note: Slides are optional, but would be helpful to convey the full scope of your work.

Jurying takes place on the second Saturday of each month, during our regular business meeting. The meeting runs from 9:30 A.M. to 11:00 A.M.

Members in attendance discuss the merits of the work based on quality, presentation, and the urgency of your personal vision. We also consider how your work compliments the work of the current members and if The Middle Street Gallery is the right venue for its display.
