| Summary: | RMH Hospice is a program dedicated to caring for patients and families facing a terminal illness. Hospice uses a team of healthcare workers and volunteers to help meet physical, emotional. psychosocial and spiritual needs. With a focus on comfort care, Hospice provides cost-effective services for life-limiting illness. Care is provided for all ages and all diagnoses. Although the majority of the support is provided in the home setting including nursing homes, medically necessary inpatient care is available in the RMH Hospice unit, and or Hospice follows patients in other inpatient settings. Bereavement services are provided for all families for a period of a year. |
