The above steam is typical of these. Knowing how to fish these steams and having the right equipment is essential to success. Fishing these streams will require all the skills a fly fisherman will need for any fishing and can be applied to all waters. This is the great challange. If you become good at this type of fly fishing, then you can confidently fly fish anywhere. A good mountain stream fisherman ends up stalking his prey - a brightly colored male brook trout.
